Regional Softball

PV Castlewood game will be resumed tomorrow at 1:30pm winner will play Honaker at 5:30 pm same day. I think the score was PV 1 Castlewood 0 in the bottom of the 4th(PV batting 1 on 1 out)

Thunder storm, I don't really know why they didn't try to wait it out a little while though.

They did wait it out, the field was in terrible shape. For one thing the regions should not even be held there. THey have no seating, no good concessions, and it is like driving all day, then you have to go up a mountain that is equal to going to High Knob. Terrible place. Exactly!! I totally agree! It is a horrible place and I wish they would play the games when the parents are off work. It isn't fair to have them in the middle of the day when everyone is at work. I mean they could make a lot more money on admission and everything if they would play the games a little later in the day.

We've got some decent fields around, and I really don't see why they don't play later since it doesn't get dark until late. Besides that, some fields now have lights. Well that type of thinking needs to stop. Girls softball is an awesome sport. It is growing and gets bigger every year. There is about 7 pro softball teams now as well.(i think)
